How are you at staying awake all night, too?

What does napping have to do with being able to find something to do?

Never napper at night either. Got 6 hours in one stretch every night.

When there are things to do you don't have time to nap

And if your child had gotten up and done something dangerous during those 6 hours (like manage to escape the house), you could be criminally charged for having been asleep at the time.

When my younger one was a toddler we hd to put spring-loaded locks on the inside of the doors so he couldn't get out. He got out of his bedroom window one night when he was still in diapers. Luckily he didn't leave the yard.

I have always napped when they napped. My DH and I are up by about five every morning, and I am often up driving the kid someplace at midnight. If I didn't nap on the weekends, I would never be fully rested.

When I was at home with two napping aged boys, I was never so busy that I coldn't take a nap if I wanted to.

Besides, naps are apparently good for your health. My dh often naps. He may work till 10 in the evening or have to go to a business dinner. Taking the time to rest and regroup in the afternoon gets him through.
