there's a difference between not knowing how to cook and relying on frozen, packaged meals though.

Yes, of course there is a difference. You can be not so great at cooking and still make an effort, like my aunt whom I mentioned. It is very different when you take pride in not being able to cook, which is what I talked about originally.
