Well, there are good traditions, and bad traditions. I don't know what you mean by being "strong on tradition," but if it means turning up your nose at people who things differently from you, I would consider that a "bad" tradition. Weren't you the one singing the praises of "different is beautiful" a few weeks ago?

I'd be kind of wishing that their child ended up with a best friend who had divorced parents, if only so they could learn a lesson from it.

Is that how you judge whether you like something or not, by how many other people like it or don't like it?

It's so crazy that stuff like that actually happens, lol! Although I'm sure not very fun for you.

Now that I think of it, I seem to recall hearing something about a Mob-related trial in the US recently. It hasn't been on the news that much here.

I know that it is considered "thin," but it is thicker than most italian pizza I have had, and the edge is usually quite thick.

I find it depends on the cookies. Lebkuchen? Easy. Florentines? Impossible.

Well, you said that to Italians, "sauce" meant red sauce, with or without meat. Carbonara sauce is not red, nor is white sauce. So that would seem to exclude them from the category of things that you claim are "sauce" to Italians. I was asking the question to try to clarify.

I think she means thicker than a thin crusted pizza as PKA has been speaking of. I wouldn't consider a "regular cheese" slice of NY pizza thick either though as, what is the dough, less than a half inch on the bottom?
