This topic "piggybacks" on the priorities topic where we discussed what we gave up as working women and moms, what do you think our children give up...honestly!? What do you think they gain? Also please mention your own mothers status and your experience of a child as a SAH or WOH.

This would be a generalized post of what you think applies to wohps' homes in a generic way. You really can't speak for what goes on in people's homes and evidently you used to be a daycare worker before you had children. So you are talking about what went on in other people's homes 10 years ago?????? This really is not what the opening poster asked about and it does not apply to all wohms.
Since the OP asked for what your children give up not what you think other children give up--I will respond to your post & say that actually none of what you listed out applies to my children and my home.

One of the things I love about two of the major grocery stores chains in my area is that they advertise and sell fresh produce from local growers in the stores in season and their are farmers markets in many communities around here.
