"SAH doesn't support change, it supports going backwards to the 1950's,"

Statement in a post below.

I wholeheartedly disagree. To me, SAH is a choice. How is that going back to the 1950s, when a lot of women didn't have much of a choice.

If high school students still respond to such crude tactics, they are going to have problems staying motivated after graduation by an employer.

So, the father is the seal then. Someone in the house has to work for the things people want.

Right. But there's many things that could have made them that way, and I'm not convinced that getting a sticker and a keychain every once in a while doomed them to that future.

nah. i don't agree.

no wife JUST marries a wealthy, successful husband.....there's something he must have found attractive in her to warrant all that, too.

I don't want my children to associate "fun" with certain kinds of unhealthy food.

Then my suggestion is for the parents and teachers to work together to mature in that regard, not delay their learning of delayed gratification.

Children who don't learn it early often end up as adults who carry large credit card balances.

What do you think is responsible for creating that attitude in so many adults?

Okay then please explain the connection of a pizza with the love of reading, because I'm not getting what a pizza (using that term very loosely here, lol) has to do with reading.
