"SAH doesn't support change, it supports going backwards to the 1950's,"

Statement in a post below.

I wholeheartedly disagree. To me, SAH is a choice. How is that going back to the 1950s, when a lot of women didn't have much of a choice.

Yes, why wouldn't they? Why would they need to illegally take their children out of school when a weekend game would suffice for bonding time?

That's fine. There's always the ignore button.

You have failed to see how your remarks were insensitive, even without prior knowledge of her mother's death.

How could my remarks be insensitive if I didn't know?

Unintentionally insensitive, I'll give you that. But, you've never posted anything like that, have you?

Yes, I'm quite sure we all understood that fact from the get-go.

I'll give your opinion on that point all due consideration.

Were you made the board representative?

You are happy with the method used to get your children to read, etc at school. I am happy with the methods used to get my children to succeed at school. I have been in CONSTANT communication with school psychologists, school guidance counselors, all the teachers and they all comment on how well developed my children are IN ALL AREAS so I am not remotely concerned. If you can say that you have the same experience with your child's education experience so far, than we have nothing to debate about. When my children start having problems in school, when they are no longer invited to participate in the TAG program in a leadership capacity, when we ever have a Parent Teacher conference where a teacher says anything other than, "I have nothing to report on your child, he/she is doing excellent in all areas. I don't have many kids that I can say this about, but your child is excelling in ALL areas" than I will worry, until then, I won't worry about them and you really shouldn't either.

Who said there are no more competitions in MS and HS? High GPA, Honor Roll, Honor Society, College Scholarships, there are always awards and goals to attain to.

As are my children - they just grasp the material a little quicker than most.
