SAH doesn't support change,

"SAH doesn't support change, it supports going backwards to the 1950's,"
Statement in a post below.
I wholeheartedly disagree. To me, SAH is a choice. How is that going back to the 1950s, when a lot of women didn't have much of a choice.

Thanks for the repeat. It's interesting to me that 57% of 25-29 year olds have "some college or more." But still a lower number than I would have imagined.
What do you mean by "easily obtainable"? You make it sound like anyone can just go out and get a degree without much effort at all--much like punkalicorn, who has no college experience. If four-year degrees were so easily obtainable, and since the article you posted shows that a bachelors degree doubles one's income, why would only one in four U.S. adults bother to complete a degree?
IMO, the hard work and perserverance required to get a four-year degree is exactly one reason many employers are more likely to choose a degreed individual regardless of whether the education is related to the job or not.
That's good to hear, as it affirms my impression of America as a place with truly mobile social classes, and means I don't necessarily have to save for Wellesley or Yale after all. :)

Are you worried that the military will not let him go? Or that they will sweeten the pot so much that he does re-enlist?
I keep hearing about people who want to get out but whose tours have been extended indefinitely. Or about those who have left the armed forces and are being called back.

It is totally job and contract dependent.
