Now you can't even read your OWN posts correctly, kitten. How you are ever going to cut it as a teacher is beyond me.
Your post said that there was a difference between NOT putting people that SAH on a pedestal and being critical of SAH. My post said that most WOHs do the former. That is, they do NOT put SAH on a pedestal. You do the latter.
Our school does an auction, tickets to a dinner, tickets to a dance. School carnival. Really good fundraisers.
Not door to door of gift wrapping.
I would not just write a check. I will bid on items at the auction (usually more than just a couple), I will go to the dinner & buy ticket for that to support the school.
I don't think it's good to become dependent on any thing or any one outside of yourself in order to be capable of being happy. Be it having a job, having a man, having a child, owning a house, any thing or any one. Any thing or any one outside of yourself can be taken away, and you're still going to have to get by.
and yet that still doesn't address what I said....We probably make what 1/4 of what you do...But we still manage to have a sahp and bring in enough money to support our family...its all in what your priorities are....Our priority is to have a sahp...At least while are kids were young enough to not be in school...Then ours will be to have a parent home when they get out of school...It just happened that it was going to be me who would be able to get out of the military because of our dual active duty status and me being the one who was pg.

Reread what I wrote, Grim.
"Grim, I assure you, that what you do has offered about as much true tangible benefit to my life, as mine has to yours."
In my role as a SAHM, I support daily the efforts of my AD husband.
You asked, "Since when do I have to do all things at the same time to be a role model for my dd's?"
Same back atcha!
I only wanted to interject with the reminder of those medical issues, all the same, though.
