Which is why it's time to move on. Fortunately, I'm a big girl and can take care of my kids on my own. Good lesson for my dd's to learn here. Marriages do fail. Eventually, they'll get over the shock of their father leaving.

LOL, people quit for lots of reasons but not enough women quit when kids are older to make any kind of impact at all. Women are more likely to quit when they have babies than any other time. So much so, it might as well be the only time it's a real risk.
But you haven't answered what contributions wohms make other than the tax thing you keep stating over & over verbatim and the fact you pay a dcp, which not all wohft moms ever even pay.
From your postings you want to toot the WOH horn which I think is just as bad as a SAH who does it.
I've WOH & SAH. I don't make any contributions outside of my household when I SAH, I don't even volunteer. As a WOH I'm a teacher, I pay taxes out of my check, but I provide employement to not one person & I still don't volunteer at all.
I don't feel I make that bigger contribution as a WOH.
We don't even go to the local library to support it & tax dollars go towards it. So no benefit there.
More & more moms are quitting to stay home when their children become teens.
A good friend who taught along beside me quit after last school year. She has always been a WOH but she quit as they are entering their freshman year of high school. Why? Because they are active & they will only be home for 4 more years before going off to college. She said these would be the final 4 years of them living together as a family & she didn't want to miss out on one second.

Ah. Then your definition of "only" is different from mine as well.
In any case, as I've already mentioned, it's an irrelevant point.
We are suppose to take your word for it?
Maybe I do or maybe I don't use the products or some of them or all of them.
It was just a question!

When dad goes to work the kids are taught the option can be for dad to SAH.
It really doesn't take rocket science to figure it out.

You're making no SENSE!
I didn't make a community contribution as a SAH. I really don't, other than teaching & the taxes deducted from my payroll check, as a WOH.
But I can at least acknowledge that SAHs do make a significant contribution just because I didn't doesn't make it so.
I also don't think WOHMS should get any horn blowing toots that a SAHM doesn't get.
