YOu can say things would be the same if you had kids but you dont know that is fact until you have kids... i always get a chuckle out of ppl who claim they will do this or that when they have kids...ibut i will agree to disagree...

I am glad you are very happy it is nice to know ppl are happy with their choices and what you are doing it wonderful but iam not actually sad it is your views i find to be sad.

Have you heard that argument from every WOHM? Just as people choose SAH for various reasons, people choose WOH for various reasons. Using an argument one poster has made about their choice as a reason to doubt someone's else's reasons for their choices is pretty silly.

Wait... you are saying that if you had to take care of a family member's children, they would take a backseat at all times to your children, and SHE'S the one with the sad views? Wow, I got a chuckle out of that one.

Well im glad to see your chuckling instead of getting all reved up but that is not what iam saying and i already made that clear when i answered another poster...your misrepresenting my views...have you ever read the book family first me always? i do not think ALL her views are sad I think her claim that she is not a part of raising or bringing up those kids is sad and very negative i hope to see he change her mind once those kids are grown with a positive out come...she is indeed a huge part of raising those kids.

If you find my views sad that is fine with me...to each thrie own :)

My family comes first...everything else is secondary...

I would not take in my sis grown children anyway there is no reason to...

It *can* be a contradiction if someone, as appears to be the case with you, has their child rearing and their livelihood and their identity all involved with each other, which is a perfectly fine way to be.
