Is the SAHM the new status symbol?

In the 70's and 80's women fought to get into the workforce (the whole Ms. magazine generation)...and then the tide turned in the late 1990's when more women started to stay home by choice. Now, it seems like being a SAHM is a status symbol....and superior to being a working mom.

I think the vast majority of Americans think if both men and women can work, both men and women can stay home. Her family's the anachronism, not me.

I understand it's a pipe dream. But I report 100% of my income, and I can be angry with people who underreport theirs.

I have always been too scared not to report my total income to the IRS. There are two types of people in this world: the caught and the uncaught. I am the caught.

"funny" I think that is disgusting... and you find it "funny" to treat others as such.

I have never tiped under 15% even if the service is bad...and never will. I tip at least 20%...normally more.
