Is the SAHM the new status symbol?

In the 70's and 80's women fought to get into the workforce (the whole Ms. magazine generation)...and then the tide turned in the late 1990's when more women started to stay home by choice. Now, it seems like being a SAHM is a status symbol....and superior to being a working mom.

I understand...you say you tolerate him that is not showing the man disrespect that shows a lot of strength on your part imo. That is what Im trying to say in reference to loathing someone. If I loath somone i simply do not acknowledge them.

Your fil sounds like a very evil man...

Preschool isn't JUST childcare, but it IS childcare. At least for me it is. Today I got a chance to have my hair done, run some errands (get hockey equipment for my middle son), and have lunch with my friend. So although it isn't JUST childcare, it IS childcare.

I manage my own staff. I've yet to ever have a personal assistant.
