Anywhere but here, I doubt it matters. Here you're a WAHM and it's based on nothing more than having a common definition for everyone for the purposes of debate.

Is your dh earning money from this business? I would probably think you are earning money, hopefully you are making a profit. You are choosing not to draw a paycheck and instead what you would pay someone else or yourself to do this work is on the profit end of the statement.

I'd call you a wahm, unless you have very miniscule hours that you put into it--like maybe an hour or 2 a week.

You would be a WAHM.

Technically you are earning money you just choose to spend that money back into the business.

I think you sell yourself short by not paying yourself. Should you ever need to got a job outside of your business, this experience would be more helpful on a resume if it were a recognized job. Plus, you would be getting social security credit that you might need when you "retire". You need to give credit where credit is due.

Although you aren't getting a paycheque as such, presumably you benefit from the ongoing success of your business. Therefore I would consider this WAHM.

I'm still kind of up in the air about this. I can't decide whether she is a WAHM or if she is a SAHM who volunteers her time in the family business.
