SAH/WOH--extramarital affairs

I was just at the gym this morning and overheard a conversation between two women on treadmills who were discussing/debating as to whether married sahms were any more or less likely to have affairs than married wohms.

I thought it would be interesting to hear your thoughts on this.

That doesn't contradict my point ... which was that office affairs DO happen ... even if you don't know of any. My point had nothing to do with sah/woh.

Choose your friends by their character and your socks by their color.  Choosing your socks by their character makes no sense and choosing your friends by their color is unthinkable.

Actually, I'm not the only one. But thanks for making me feel so special.

In usage, "epitome" is less "typical example" and more "ultimate example" or "pinnacle" - closer to the "embodiment" part of the definition you conveniently omitted.

I'm curious, though - if you believe epitome to be what you say, then you don't believe that cheating is immoral? That cheating is not a "typical example" of an immoral behavior? Interesting.

Money is a pretty strong want for a lot of people. That doesn't mean taking someone else's is OK.

Besides, what does "understandable" mean in this context, if not condone?

Preferring celibacy over what, though? I don't think based on what virgo has posted, it's really a sexual issue.

And in this thread, we were

Gosh, given that I'm the one who actually said "perfectly fine", I can guarantee that phrase in no way means "does not feel occasional sexual frustration". But it does mean "lives an emotionally, physically, and psychologically healthy and fulfilling life".

I disagree. I think that any immoral behavior is the result of a character flaw. Just what do you think "character" means?

Just because no one is perfect doesn't mean nothing is immoral.

Yes, Mother Teresa is a very accurate representation of the population at large.
