SAH/WOH--extramarital affairs

I was just at the gym this morning and overheard a conversation between two women on treadmills who were discussing/debating as to whether married sahms were any more or less likely to have affairs than married wohms.
I thought it would be interesting to hear your thoughts on this.

Because of the circumstances. And yes, the intent. It is wrong to kill, but am I wrong to kill an intruder who is intent on killing my family?
Edited to ask: for how long surrounding the killing would I be labelled a killer? If you kill, you are a killer right?
As I said, there are no absolutes, even when it comes to moral behavior.

Choose your friends by their character and your socks by their color. Choosing your socks by their character makes no sense and choosing your friends by their color is unthinkable.

So when does your label of "speeder" go away? Or are you always a "speeder" because you did it once? If someone cheats - should they always be labeled a "cheater?"
I understand that you're saying that just b/c one cheats that that's not ALL they are - but I'm wondering how long IYO that label should stick.
Huh? Please show me where I have changed my stance and I'll explain to you how you are in fact wrong.

The morality of one action doesn't change the morality of a different action. That divorcing his wife would be "more selfish" doesn't make cheating any less selfish than it is. And since those aren't the only two options, it's not a matter of choosing the lesser of two evils.
You already have, implied at least, that I am right. Circumstances do matter. Or are you saying an immoral act becomes moral only if it is committed in self defense?
