SAH/WOH--extramarital affairs

I was just at the gym this morning and overheard a conversation between two women on treadmills who were discussing/debating as to whether married sahms were any more or less likely to have affairs than married wohms.

I thought it would be interesting to hear your thoughts on this.

Yeah, but then you turned around and exhibited your lack of knowledge about how often office affairs happen, so you pretty much blew any credibility your argument might have had.

That was funny. A little pathetic, but funny. Why do you always think what you know is all anyone knows?

She blew her credibility about 2 years ago ...

Choose your friends by their character and your socks by their color.  Choosing your socks by their character makes no sense and choosing your friends by their color is unthinkable.

No, it's the "consent" part that distinguishes consensual sex from rape.

Sometimes, sex is a gift. No different than watching football when you'd rather be watching a chick flick.

But don't you enjoy doing that? I do. It might not have been what I planned, I might not have desired it ... but I enjoy it anyway. So, its pleasurable for both.

But, if a marriage is bad already, "giving in" is often *not* pleasurable for one party or another ... and no man or woman should feel obligated to give sex to his/her partner.

Even in a good marriage "giving in" might not always be pleasurable. Sex is sex. Sometimes it's great, sometimes it's

<<I don't see the need to turn it into something that MUST be a certain way every time.>>

Huh?

Let me expound a bit further ....

Every partner should be willing to say "Ehh, I'm not into that tonight, but it will make X happy, so what the hell. It'll be fun."

Every partner should also be willing to say "Ehh, I can see you're really

Instead of this:

"Every partner should be willing to say "Ehh, I'm not into that tonight, but it will make X happy, so what the hell. It'll be fun."

It sometimes goes more like this:

"I'm no where near into that tonight, but clearly X is. It won't be any more fun for me than going to the dentist, but what the hell, it'll only take a few minutes"

ROFLMAO - sometimes I slay me. Good thing dh isn't into message boards.
