SAH/WOH--extramarital affairs

I was just at the gym this morning and overheard a conversation between two women on treadmills who were discussing/debating as to whether married sahms were any more or less likely to have affairs than married wohms.
I thought it would be interesting to hear your thoughts on this.

PnJ is being pragmatic.
Question: if your DH took his check to a bank checking account where only he was listed as account holder, would you have access to his funds?

Choose your friends by their character and your socks by their color. Choosing your socks by their character makes no sense and choosing your friends by their color is unthinkable.

I agree. YOu have to understand, my Mom is married to a semi-user, and has meticulously structured her finances to separate HER property, HIS property, and COMMUNITY property.
She accounts for every penny that comes into his business, that he eats, that is from the house (which she maintains out of her own funds and the little bit of money from my dad's death).

"Life is a grim struggle, love is a fallacy, and pursuing work you enjoy is selfish?"
I don't believe any of those things are true.

It is about how you *see* it.
Both of the banking scenarious are legally correct. However, if you were to choose one of the two as an analogy to "earning income" and "his/her income" in a marriage, I think you'd choose the first example as an appropriate analogy. I think the others in this debate would choose the second scenario for our analogy.
Choose your friends by their character and your socks by their color. Choosing your socks by their character makes no sense and choosing your friends by their color is unthinkable.
