Hi All,

I'm new to this board and totally fascinated by the WOH/SAH debate.

The problem doesn't lie, however, in the WOHM who provides the justification as an answer, but society for wanting or expecting a justification as an answer ... or with the individual who expects a justification.

But we all make decisions based on what is best for our family.

i think that's one of those OK,safe assumptions too - WOH or SAH being best for you or you family.

I don't assume. I have seen it here on this board - posters who believe that their way is best and who believe the same conclusion is true for everyone.

How in the world is that worth getting riled up over?

I'm not sure that it is really worth getting riled up over, but I personally get riled up when it is assumed that I made a selfish choice to WOH because someone else believes it is better for every mother to SAH.

If I'd said seeking, that wouldn't have made sense, but I said seeing.

i don't necessarily agree that saying,i'm doing this because it's best for my family is the same first person as,i would go crazy SAH.
