SAH/WOH - Why?

I am sure this has been done before but I was wondering this in light of recent posts lately.

Why did you decide to sah/woh?

Was it a choice or something expected of you?

Was your plan to sah/woh though out or impulsive? Long-term or short-term?

"Are you saying that someone that likes to drive a nice car is materialistic? Maybe that person lives in a modest home, and has no designer clothes, or fancy furniture? Are they still materialistic?"

Yes.

Oh, confusion is there, but not on my part.

I have 9 seatbelts in my truck, I will be the carpooling maven!!! LOL (I can actually put 3 carseats in each row in the back, I've done it!) Kids here have to be in carseats or boosters for-EVER it seems.

I think someone that is materialistic is one that likes only fine things. That isn't the case with our family.

Yes, perhaps we should move along since you are having such a hard time proving anything within this topic?

I sure didn't feel that way at 16 when I had to drive my little brother everywhere under the sun.. I think my mom was the privileged one! LOL (That doesn't look like it's spelled right to me, but I looked it up so I guess it is)

I put them in the back of the minivan, all secured with 3 point safety belts and headrests.

***Oh, confusion is there, but not on my part. One doesn't need to show data to support such a widely basic knowledge of the law of supply and demand, although for some reason you required it. I think you need to go back and re-read those posts.***

I dont need to reread those posts. I am not the one confused.

***I gave you an unbiased website to search all makes and models of cars/trucks and vans.***

I asked you to prove that webstie WRONG with all the details they gave. You did no such thing.

***No, and I don't have dogs as in plural. I do however have a dog that does need to be transported and often with the family.**

Really? Where do you go with your dog?

***As I have said numerous times now, an Accord is not big enough for our family and it's needs. So like I said before, when they make a hybrid that is large enough, I will look into it.***

IT really would be. But again I don't blame you. I wouldn't drive a sedan either. It is cramped even with just two kids.

***I don't own an SUV, quite possibly will never own one, unless we move to a place where the weather conditions require such a vehicle...I see no need for one to haul the kids around in.***

Again that is not why I own one. Again in my line of work I require a large truck. When I bought the one I am driving now I knew I would be going back to work within 3 years. That is why I have what I have.

So what's all this stuff about how you work inside your car, etc. and it's a builder's truck?
