SAH/WOH - Why?
| Mon, 02-20-2006 - 7:41am |
I am sure this has been done before but I was wondering this in light of recent posts lately.
Why did you decide to sah/woh?
Was it a choice or something expected of you?
Was your plan to sah/woh though out or impulsive? Long-term or short-term?

You have to change some of the present tenses in her post to past or future to get what she means.

***No, it wouldn't be. When was the last time you compared the trunk room of an Accord with the cargo room of a minivan and my families needs in order to make another grand claim that you know better? Guess we will add this to the list of things you claim but can't prove.****
My mother has an Accord. The cubic feet is measured in height as well as width and length. Her trunk is huge. I know without a doubt the things you listed would easily fit into her trunk. It isn't about which is bigger....you asked would it fit. It would.
***Ah, but you are not working now....are you? Since when is a Sequoia a truck, let alone a large truck? Toyota doesn't even classify them as a truck.***
I call them all trucks. Would it be better for you for me to call it an SUV? I don't care who classifies it as what. When I ask my DH to get something that is in the truck I say will you go out to the truck and get....Not will you go out to the SUV and get.... This is all semantics. Were you carpooling your kids in 1999? Aren't your boys 8 and 10? Your van is only 7 years old. Hmmm.
Read past the first sentence.
It's simply not safe, even with the airbag turned off.

I didn't buy it because it was a Honda.

No, I didn't buy it because it was a Honda, it just happened to be the best minivan around for reliability, safety and environmentally at the time.
PumpkinAngel
....and once again you are wrong.
PumpkinAngel
You really, really need to educate yourself on this topic.

What, three years early? Ah huh, okay.<<
So it would have been less materialistic to not buy the SUV, buy a sedan, and then buy a new truck in 3 years? I'm not seeing this, at all. Noone *needs* a brand new car at all, so in any respect it is somewhat materialistic to buy one.
