SAH/WOH - Why?
| Mon, 02-20-2006 - 7:41am |
I am sure this has been done before but I was wondering this in light of recent posts lately.
Why did you decide to sah/woh?
Was it a choice or something expected of you?
Was your plan to sah/woh though out or impulsive? Long-term or short-term?

***You are right, though, the Odyssey is a different animal than the Sequoia. The Sequoia is very nice but it is a gas guzzler and doesn't have any more room than an Odyssey. I think, except for the towing issues, the Odyssey is a much more practical choice.***
Again I am not arguing that point at all. However the Odyssey is NOT a practical choice for our needs. IT can not pull either of our trailers nor our boat. Therefore it is not something that would be of any benefit to our needs.
Did you even read the article that you linked? I read it, doesn't support your argument at all.

Sure it does.
Sales of big SUVs tumbled 15 percent in April, according to sales tracker Autodata.
But sales are still up 7.8 percent so far this year.
While I agree that sales went down it clearly states that sale are back up 7.8%. Let me be clear. I am in no way a huge SUV backer. I think they are great vehicles. There are lots of other things I would much rather drive than what I do. Someday I probably will. I just don't stress about what people drive.
"I have already listed what I do. My family choses to use the recycling service that is optional in our area. When I work I also make sure to leave as many trees as possible when we clear a lot. If the homeowner requests more trees be taken out then they are will be paying for that. All my homes include trees in landscaping. I think that is very important to our environment. Should I go on?"
I'm glad to hear you don't really think being a homebuilder is a good thing for the environment, though.
