SAH/WOH - Why?

I am sure this has been done before but I was wondering this in light of recent posts lately.

Why did you decide to sah/woh?

Was it a choice or something expected of you?

Was your plan to sah/woh though out or impulsive? Long-term or short-term?

I'm well aware of what's involved in renovating an old house, since I live in one. How long have you lived in your house, and how many times have you removed all of the fixtures in your house?

If you are talking about me, you are incorrect in your statements, again.

I'm LMAO at the idea of anybody needing to remove every fixture in their house at the same time.

We have owned this house almost 9 years. We are still working on it. We removed all the fixtures when we started interior work on this house about 6 years ago.

Feel free to complain, but it's hard to imagine why you'd be insulted that I think you got your attitude from your father--unless you think there's something wrong with it.

Don't you think your kids will share your attitude that the environment is not something to consider in buying a car?

Thank you for finally agreeing that she's done more than you have--in terms of cars.

***Feel free to complain,***

I am not complaining. I am stating what you did.

*** but it's hard to imagine why you'd be insulted that I think you got your attitude from your father--unless you think there's something wrong with it.***

Why is this hard for you? That isn't what I said. But if you want to spin it that way so that you feel better about it. Ok.

***Don't you think your kids will share your attitude that the environment is not something to consider in buying a car?***

It really won't be my business what they buy when they are adults. My guess would be yes that they might follow suit to what their dad and I do. We buy cars that fit our needs.
