SAH/WOH - Why?
| Mon, 02-20-2006 - 7:41am |
I am sure this has been done before but I was wondering this in light of recent posts lately.
Why did you decide to sah/woh?
Was it a choice or something expected of you?
Was your plan to sah/woh though out or impulsive? Long-term or short-term?

Still not cold enough.

ITA. I remember years ago there was a public service announcement that featured a little boy spending time with his dad. The two were having a grand time and they sat down under a tree to rest. Dad pulls out a pack of cigs and lights up. End shot is the little boy picking up the pack and looking at his dad adoringly. I don't understand how a parent can swat a child on the bottom to correct a behavior and then be surprised if that child smacks a playmate who won't share a toy.

I think that's because I don't see the need to defend it, just as I don't see the need to defend WOH, SAH, or many other things folks feel strongly about, but no objective evidence supports.
Any idea can be taken to an extreme and *become* detrimental.

I would like to see some backup on that.

No, why would you think that based on my post?

You really don't wear a coat at 32 degrees?

I didn't see that anywhere in your links.
