If I had the extra cash, I'd gladly hand over the menial and mundane to someone who makes a living out of it. In the past, when I WOH, had a baby and a a dh who was overseas, I did pay someone to do. The little time I had at home I had more important things to do, like spend it with my dd and taking care of more important household tasks.
Now that I have four young children and a hectic schedule, I'd love to let someone else do the heavy duty cleaning for me. Unfortunately, our budget doesn't allow for it. Who cares if they *like* being able to pay someone to do it? You make it sound as if you think they feel they are better than you for it?
When I was a full time SAHM we had a housekeeper. In our future move we will also be hiring a house hold manager aour nanny may come with us and a housekeeper and for the first few month's i will be sah.

And because you have the time and desire to do those things, you assume that everyone else should too?

Are saying your time isn't more valuable than anyone else's time?
