That is too bad that you do not know where to start. why not goggle the key word's?

Those comments you copy and pasted are not the initial post where you asked me to explain the details.

There is nothing else you can do other than answer my initial question to you where you asked me to expalin the details.

The thing's you copy and pasted are the aftermath or your original question.

Do you need me to link you to your original response where you asked for details where i aksed what i said specifically to portray i knew the details.

My son in 3rd grade as a binder with a clear pocket front where they keep their weekly assignment sheet, which a parent signs off on each night.

I just came across the best quote when reading on my lunch break. From "The Five People You Meet in Heaven" by Mitch Albom,

"Strangers are just family you have yet to come to know."

I just had to lol after reading this thread earlier today. I'm sure Mariadia would not agree! ROFL

My kids have 34 hrs a week, but only one recess. Not sure how they fill those hours differently than your 30 hrs except that they do have religion every day (but not an hour each day!).

i assure you the kids in our neighborhood are glad you dont live here. we have kids babysit, shovel snow, rake leaves, mow the yard and several other tasks that we just dont want to do. it gives them the chance to earn a little spending money and gives us free time to do things that we as a family find more enjoyable.

What kinds of things does Petey bring home for homework? Marie only spends about 20 minutes on homework. She typically has math, spelling and reading. Occasionally there might be an extra assignment for one of her other subjects like social studies or religion, but for the most part, that's it. I know some of my friends have complained about the homework (moms of boys though not sure if that has anything to do with it) saying it takes their kids forever. I don't know if that's b/c they spend so much time dawdling or if they just have trouble actually understanding it. I'm happy with the amount of homework though I wish they had better reading assignments rather than a sheet of "reading" homework.

Sigh you asked me to tell you the details, i told you i do not know them, you told me becasue of my response i seemed to know the details, i was clear in the third post in the thread to you directing your question for details i ws clear, I do not know the details.

this has nothing to do with ?'s you ask other posters. Iam asking you why you said what you said to me!

I have no reason and desire to ignore anything...lol why would i?

makes no sense.

as i said there eally is nothing more to say,

we may be having a simple mis-undertanding which is why I want to know what it was that i said originally that made you ask me for details. I was trying to get to the bottom of it, now im obred with it and find it a waste of time, talking in circles and a twisting of word's. .

Your second grader's homework sounds pretty much like my dd's - it's about 20 minutes at most. She's usually done more quickly though if she's not distracted. She has a composition book in which she is required to write her homework assignments, then I'm supposed to initial it to signify that I've made sure she has completed her homework. She doesn't have required reading, but we have our own reading requirement - she has to read for at least 20-30 minutes every day. I have to fight her on that the most b/c she'd rather be playing and she hates hates hates to have "quiet" time.
