That's a point I think posters with younger children might miss, my son is reading books that I haven't read in years or have never read so to go over and review his nightly homework in a book that

Exactly and for example I can't review either of my children's Spanish homework, I just check to see that it's done.

The teachers at my children's school have specifically moved some projects back into the classroom...seems to many parents were "helping" their children with their homework.
