Ok, with all the wedding talk and what to give for gifts, I am NOW, after going to weddings for almost 20 years-lol! invited to an outdoor wedding in someone's home.
Here is the scenario:
Bride and Groom (she 22, he 36)
Living together for over 3 years
Groom-12 year old son
Bride and Groom-have a 3 year old and she is due with their 2nd in August
Wedding:
At her mother's house-catered food from restaurant

I know in other posts I said I would probably give the same as a sit down reception but we were orally invited to this wedding so I assume they are doing this just to get married before the 2nd child arrives. I have NO clue now what to do about a gift-lol!!

Not necessarily -- i top the scales at over 200 pounds and I am a distance cyclists who works out 5 days a week and has great blood pressure cholesterol etc... being overweight does not always equal serious health problems -- and the way that woman was dancing I would hazard her cardio vascular capability was really good!

Yes. We. Did.

And I answered that specific question.

"Umm, why do you have this insane notion that my hands aren't nice? Have you seen my hands? How do you have any basis on which to judge?"

Because I have hands also and I know how my nails looks if I don't get regular manicures.

"Um, for the third time, NO. "

You just stated that you clipped them.

While I am much healthier now, 80 lbs lighter, I wasn't unhealthy at my top weight of 226. I never had high cholesterol. I never had high blood pressure. I never had joint pain. I didn't have recurrent illnesses. I was fairly healthy .. if not fit.

He specifically said that to you? "Don't do your nails, babe, because that doesn't matter to me?"

<.

You've been taking lessons from hazel. The way YOU are, the way you do things, has nothing to do with the way others do things. The fact that you have ugly nails has nothing to do with the appearance of my nails.

Do you want to ask him yourself? Do you think you know my husband better than I do?
