Ok, with all the wedding talk and what to give for gifts, I am NOW, after going to weddings for almost 20 years-lol! invited to an outdoor wedding in someone's home.
Here is the scenario:
Bride and Groom (she 22, he 36)
Living together for over 3 years
Groom-12 year old son
Bride and Groom-have a 3 year old and she is due with their 2nd in August
Wedding:
At her mother's house-catered food from restaurant

I know in other posts I said I would probably give the same as a sit down reception but we were orally invited to this wedding so I assume they are doing this just to get married before the 2nd child arrives. I have NO clue now what to do about a gift-lol!!

"Yes, I actually do. How is that relevant to the debate?"

I find it odd that you have never heard of only bringing cash to a wedding. If you get out and speak with many types of people, you might have heard that said at least once.

"Nope, that is not what I stated and not what you quoted. You might want to read that quote again."

You have never heard of a guest bringing only cash to a wedding, correct? Or will we play Spin the words again?

Ok. You believe what you want.

Here is a good example. You don't work but your dh does and pays all the bills. Is the house NOT yours because the cash did not come out of your own pocket? Isn't your name on the title and deed? My name was on the card given. It was from both of us, just like the house is both of yours even though you do not provide for it financially.

"This history of making false claims."

I think I've asked you this before. Please stop stating that I am a liar.

"Just like you claimed I didn't say I met them a handful of times in my original post to you on this matter, which of course, clearly wasn't true."

Not in the same post as the other item you mentioned.
