You see, I would worry about people drinking too much and driving. How do you manage that? I would feel somewhat responsible if I hosted a party with free flowing alcohol and one of my guests was injured or injured someone else as a result. Maybe I overthink things though?
Times I've caught her, she lost her allowance or was grounded. She swaps clothing with her friends, she's capable with scissors and a sewing machine and alters things herself. She buys her own clothing sometimes, with her own money. As parents, we're kidding ourselves if we think we can control them beyond a certain point.
I was brought up that there was always alcohol in the house for guests. I have really never been to a party that did not have some kind of alcohol available for the guests.
sure that's a possibility. However, sm stated that she KNEW that her dd wore the micro-mini to school -- either before or after the fact.
why in the world should she be wearing a micro-mini to school? It has no place there. I'm sorry that no one on staff stopped her to tell the dd that because she was, clearly, inappropriately dressed for school.
