This isn't about not being happy with what they got. This about getting another entree because, even though they were quite happy with the first one, they wanted a second one. In other words, unlimited food. But you didn't have that, did you? Each guest got a set amount of food (unless you had a buffet- and those aren't unlimited either) and you just assumed it would be enough. Thus with the alcohol. It isn't a minute amount of alcohol. But it isn't unlimited either. If/when it runs out, this is really no different from the food "running out" because each guest gets one entree and that is presumed to be enough.

I agree. How can you tell your kids "don't drink and drive" and then, well, drink and drive?

Personally, I don't think anyone should drink and drive period, not even in moderation.

Because there's not much that bugs me more than when i'm trying to have a conversation with someone at a party and continually have to listen to that drunken "wooooooo!" shouting as if that is suddenly a perfectly acceptable way to communicate...I get it "woooo! we're at a party! we're drinkgin! wooooooo!" now be quiet and leave me alone LOL

Yes. We. Did.

That is the attitude that causes problems.
