The attitude that I was referring to is "it is a party, I'll go a little crazy". I was making the point that an open bar at a reception can be a problem even for people who normally drink in moderation. The moderation attitude sometimes gets lost in the festivities. I enjoy going out with the girls too. I find it very relaxing just to be with friends. Having a few drinks and then driving home doesn't sit well with me.
Nobody said that there was any obnoxious people at my wedding and we had an open bar for 5 hours. Even the ones who drink alot were very controlled that night. They had alot of class and I was very surprised and happy as it made a great wedding.
Who said I was driving? I never drive after drinking. I always go out with my dh or have someone drive me home. Just because you are silly does not mean you are stupid.

"Hey, its a party, what is wrong with silly drunk??!!-lol"
Because sometimes silly drunk gets behind the wheel of a car, and the result is anything but silly.
I was not speaking of your wedding.
