Where did I say the *you* drove? Nowhere. You asked what was wrong with silly drunk and I told you. *SOMETIMES* *SOME* people drive home and then it is not so silly.
This is a real sticking point with me as I have known too many people killed or injured by "silly drunk". And yes, silly drunk *can* lead to stupidity.
I agree with you and that is why I would never drive drunk or allow someone I know to. You can get loose sometimes. It doesn't do much harm as long as you are in control.
Attitudes toward alcohol in our society are why drunk driving deaths rose in 2005. The LMAO attitude about drinking has to change before the number of deaths declines.
ITA with you that there are WAY too many drunk drivers out there but you can't assume that everyone going out to have a good time is driving drunk. As much as you think you know me, you don't as I would never drive drunk and usually the only time I am drinking is at home with my dh after the kids go to bed. Nothing wrong with being silly drunk with your dh every once in awhile.

In my book, "let loose" and "stay in control" are rarely the same thing.
