Staying at home a choice??

The author of this article thinks most mothers go to work because they want to, not because they have to.
"Most parents from two-parent families today do have a choice when it comes to parental care. They can try and talk themselves into believing they don't, but it really boils down to priorities."

Does anyone (other than her) really believe this? I don't know of anyone among my friends who works who wouldn't rather be staying at home with their children. But they don't have the choice!

< I have never bought anything with my credit card that I didn't pay in full when the bill came. Why is that considered to be perfect? >
Again have you ever been in the hospital for an extended period?
"There are many ways to save and plan for college education and many factors involved."
Please elaborate.

You're really good at the bait and switch debate "technique".
I was responding to *this* comment "So you're credit is 100% perfect all the time? You have never decided to replace any piece of furniture or object in your house because it is older or run down and you would like to get something new?"
Where in it did you mention health care? AGAIN, I was responding to a post about THINGS.

I see your arguement there.
Doesn't reviewing your rate of return and investment allocation regularly ensure that one's plan is flexible and not fixed?

I am just defending the other side of the story.
"Knowing what other people have saved doesn't change what we need to save."
True.
