Staying at home a choice??

The author of this article thinks most mothers go to work because they want to, not because they have to.
"Most parents from two-parent families today do have a choice when it comes to parental care. They can try and talk themselves into believing they don't, but it really boils down to priorities."

Does anyone (other than her) really believe this? I don't know of anyone among my friends who works who wouldn't rather be staying at home with their children. But they don't have the choice!

lol
we have a 3-compartment unit in our closet, so dh's and my clothes are sorted the second we put them in the hamper. The kids have a single basket each, and before we do laundry, they bring it in and sort it into dh's and my hampers. Works really well.
we also have a basket in his closet for the dirty towels/sheets, etc. And one for my "hand washables".
I change and wash my sheets every Friday. :-)
see when you've really embraced slacker hood you throw a load in and then promplty forget about it -- or you take a lod out of the drier a good 2 or 3 days after you put it in there... MUCH less hanging around that way
