Staying at home a choice??

The author of this article thinks most mothers go to work because they want to, not because they have to.
"Most parents from two-parent families today do have a choice when it comes to parental care. They can try and talk themselves into believing they don't, but it really boils down to priorities."

Does anyone (other than her) really believe this? I don't know of anyone among my friends who works who wouldn't rather be staying at home with their children. But they don't have the choice!

You have lived in the exact same neighborhood for 30 years?

So know you know people who have reported these crimes and know that nothing has happened to them and nothing is in their file or anything?

The shortest time is the newer houses across the street and they have lived there for 6 years. My neighborhood is very nice and people tend to stay for a long time. Now with the prie of houses, it is not worth it to move so alot of people just build up on their houses and the "kids" (my age) will live with the parents with their new families.
Yes, I do know people who have reported this and nothing happens.
The neighbor who used to live by us was making over $60,000/year off the books.
The cost of living here is probabaly not as high as you.
