Staying at home a choice??

The author of this article thinks most mothers go to work because they want to, not because they have to.

"Most parents from two-parent families today do have a choice when it comes to parental care. They can try and talk themselves into believing they don't, but it really boils down to priorities."

Does anyone (other than her) really believe this? I don't know of anyone among my friends who works who wouldn't rather be staying at home with their children. But they don't have the choice!

Absolutely. The dealership would have cost us alot more. He had alot of work done, $1,500. The rental was about $200 for both times.

It's about the integrity of your posts. When you say "i've lived in this house of the past 35 years" and it is not a true statement, it really takes away much of the credibility you have in the debate. It makes people question the honesty in the rest of your posts.

Then by all means, post an example.

I don't get it. I was out of the house for 2 years. That is all. I will be 36 in a few months. How can 2 years make a difference??? We are talking about knowing neighbors for a long time---nothing else.

No you cannot. If someone has been investigated for fraud of a public system, it is not public information.

I will gladly recant that statement and shout in all caps that you are right, if you can provide me a public link that has information about ongoing or closed fraud investigation cases for programs like WIC.
