Okay - "takes and open mind"

I have yet to meet somebody that is so open minded that they don't judge anybody.

I think people are more likely to

If I hide it, I'll forget where I put it, LOL. But yes, there are severe boundary issues that I really have little control over as long as I have to rely on her for childcare. She is the one here when the mail gets here. I've also come home to find my closet and dressers re-organized. As soon as I'm employed full time, the boys are going to daycare and I'm changing the locks.

In her defense, she's not trying to be nosey, she's trying to be helpful and in many ways she is like having a free maid. I've always been disorganized growing up, and ever since I had kids she is OBSESSED with the idea that if she doesn't do something herself then it won't get done. I'll get home and Dh will get home, and we'll spend the next 2 hours trying to get her to leave. Her response is always something like "Let me just make Joe a sandwich first" (I'm making dinner!), "Let me just throw in a load of laundry" (No, I don't want you washing our undies!), "Let me just vacuum real quick" (Seriously, we can do it ourselves!), "Has your furnace been inspected? Would you like me to call and schedule an appointment for someone to come inspect your furnace?" (GET OUT!!!!)
Oh my God, I'll agree to take Ritalin if she'll agree to take Paxil.

LOL, count your blessings, it's nice you have family around to watch them..my kids never knew my mom and only once did MIL come down to watch our kids, i accompanied DH on a business trip to chicago adn she stayed with our then two young girls, she was - and still is to some extent - very, very critical of our parenting, as if her own parenting is one to emulate, sigh...sometimes you gotta roll with the punches.
