I was thinking the same thing. I've heard of Protestants that don't consider Catholics to be Christians, but I've never heard of Catholics who consider themselves non-Christians.
I've run into many people of other denominations who have told me that as a Catholic I was not "really" a Christian --e ven going so far to call my faith a 'sect" or tell me that I worship 'false idols' (charming)
