True. I went to meetings as parents for Baptism, Communion, Reconciliation, Re-treat and confirmation. I went to pre-cana to get married every week for (I think as it was so long ago-lol!!) for 6 weeks. I've had to pay for all of these things besides the regular book and registration each year.

>> if somebody thinks my religion is wrong because of HOW the rite of communion is practiced then it shows a disrespect in the rituals of my church. <<

I don't think your religion is wrong for the way it practices communion, but that is one of the factors that caused me not to consider the Catholic denomination when I was looking for a church to join.

That's not disrespect. I simply believe that God's table is open to everyone, and Catholic doctrine says otherwise. Not the church for me. No biggie.

cuz it's a two-fer -- you get the wedding mass to satisfy your mass obligation for the weekend -- you don't have to sit through two masses -- score!

Geez Louise Ms. Bord, I am going to get in trouble. I have now completely doused my computer in pepsi. I think my boss is going to be upset! ROFL!

While you pointed out that Bordwithyou is an expert on the history of Christianity, and she even returned to confirm her expertise, she chose not to address my questions to her about how the various protestants take steps to receive their first Holy Communion.
