True. I went to meetings as parents for Baptism, Communion, Reconciliation, Re-treat and confirmation. I went to pre-cana to get married every week for (I think as it was so long ago-lol!!) for 6 weeks. I've had to pay for all of these things besides the regular book and registration each year.

I don't think your religion is wrong for the way it practices communion, but that is one of the factors that caused me not to consider the Catholic denomination when I was looking for a church to join.
That's not disrespect. I simply believe that God's table is open to everyone, and Catholic doctrine says otherwise. Not the church for me. No biggie.
