There are no "questions asked" but it is usually made clear at some point in the mass at the masses I have attended that it is for members of the denomination who are in good standing only. I am very surprised that you have an open table in a Catholic church. In fact, so surprised that I am going to have to check it out because it would be a first and maybe I could write an article about it!
Well since they have 4 buildings, there is more than enough staff and volunteers for more children but again, like I said, it is in the middle of the summer and many families were away that year. My gf said years before the enrollment was double but they also had it at other times of the summer.
since I've been so active in the freedom ot marry movement here I've really had to come face to face with hatred for the first time as a gay woman -- I live and move and work in very accepting circles and have never felt unsafe or scared -- but a few times when goign to the statehouse to register support of the gay marriage bills I was confronted by hate groups -- it's horrible -- it's dehumanizing -- and yet they think I'm the one going to hell...sigh.
OK, so they can hold more children than they had, and this year enrollment was down by half. That is not a good sign, but even with four buildings, there is some limit to the amount of children they can have because of occupancy laws. If they had a popular VBS, with a lot of children wanting to come, they might reach a point when they would have to turn people away. But since they hold it at an unpopular time when few people seem to want to come, they have addressed the issue in another way entirely.

you're right.
Do you see a difference between "outreach" and solicitation?

So anyone can attend VBS at your church and fully participate in the service, no exclusions what so ever in the participation in VBS or mass?
