That's how it happens in the Catholic Church. i don't remember the exact wording -- its been a long time -- but it's something to the effect of "all who have (been qualified) are welcome to partake in the Eucharist".
There is no "special" way unless you are speaking of how to "take" the communion (either in your hand or given to you in your mouth). That doesn't mean that everyone follows that are I am sure everyone slips up at least once and doesn't do it the "right" way. Doesn't mean that the priest knows you are not supposed to be receiving the communion.
What are you arguing here? That because no one you have seen has ever been denied the eucharist, that the Roman Catholic Church has an open table where everyone is welcome to participate?
Mine too. I have been to many Catholic wedding masses where it's been made clear that not everyone at the wedding is supposed to come forward for the eucharist. That's why I was surprised that any denomination would have a celebration mass for VBS and serve communion and not make it clear who is and isn't supposed to be receiving communion. Which makes me wonder whether this was a mass at all, which is what I asked about fifteen hundred posts ago.

Yep....mine as well.

Then how can you say that the RC church has an open table when it comes to communion?
