Just got done watching super nanny. anyone ever notice the horrible brats always have SAH moms and deadbeat dads? It was AMAZING to watch !

I'm sorry but I think it's much, much simpler than that. Some parents just don't know how to say no and they have no idea how to set rules and limitations -- OR don't even know that kids should have those.They want to be "friends" with their kids -- instead of being a parent.

I agree that if something isn't working, you change it. On the other hand, you have to give something, particularly something new, a chance to work before you decide it "isn't working."

That's not exactly what I said...I said being consistent in regards to discipline, not trying the same discipline over and over when it's not working.
