Well, they still won't believe it. My kids assure me, without any evidence whatsoever, that I am the only parent in the world who cares about things like what they look like when they leave the house, or whether they really fulfill the terms of their assignments, or any number of things. Evidently I am an anal compulsive with nothing better to do that micromanage my children's lives. And no amount of evidence that other parents do things essentially the same way will persuade either of them otherwise.
