Again opinions arent right or wrong. It isnt about anyones family. It is about the act itself.
The act itself is called "nursing." There is nothing to infer from that, unless you happen to know the people involved in the act.

What you are refusing to see is that I am not speaking for other people. I am speaking what I THINK. Nothing more nothing less.
What you think about OTHER PEOPLE.

This isnt an answer. Will you please answer the question? Here it is one more time: Sure it is. What would your opinion be if a mother was nursing her 16 yr old son?
That was the best answer I wanted to give, as I refuse to engage in the straw man fallacy. It is poor debate style and I don't want to play that game. Thanks all the same.

Extended nursing is nothing but nursing. I know what nursing is.
That's not a reply to anything I posted. At least not one that makes sense. "In my opinion." ;-)

So do tell me what exactly is different about nursing a 3.5 yr old and nursing lets say a 1 yr old?
So now you're interested? A 1-year old is still requiring the nutrition that only breastmilk can give.
So lets see...you cant have an opinion about what someone else is wearing?
Sure, I'd think "I would never wear that." But I'd not make any assumptions as to what drives that person to wear it. Or what type of person they are. That kind of thing. And if I did, I'd be prepared to provide some kind of reasons why.
Since it isnt you you arent entitled to your own opinion about what someone else is wearing? Not to mention I am not speaking for anyone other than myself. MYSELF says that I think nursing older children is babying them.

I have no opinion about those children. I have an opinion about the ACT of nursing them.
You have an opinion about an act? Strange. What do you think about sex with a 40 year old man? I would think it would depend on the man, wouldn't it? Or just in general, you think that it's ... what?

You can hate me, but do it because you know me, not because I’m a member of a group. Anyways, people aren’t grapes --- you can’t weigh them in a bunch, but I guess it’s easier than dealing with people as individuals. There, I’ve solved the riddle of prejudice: it saves time.
I have seen you say that you think it is abuse, but I haven't seen a single thing that tells me what is abusive about it. So fine, you think it is abuse. I know that. You object to me concluding that your opinions are based on little or nothing, but that's all you have offered as the basis for your opinion.

Based on what, exactly?
PumpkinAngel
Oh, I can...why would you think that I can not?
PumpkinAngel
Yes, it is.

Exactly what i said, I did not expect she could. Nanay nanay boo was NOT involved.
Why expect others to support their views when the person requesting the support cannot even support their own. that is the point.
Contradiciting and hypocritical to be kind.
Why the big lol icon?
She could support that point, but you haven't supported yours. That is the hypocrisy.
This is not one of link's i posted but it is quite interesting.
