Im going to have to be fair and stand corrected, The links that i did provide earlier did not actually state "necessary" I swore i read it. However now i cant find it anywhere so i think i did not post the correct link. Anyway, they do back my reasoning they do support why i feel the way i do.

No not really. We define nursing on demand differently. In my statement here I was using YOUR definition of nursing on demand.

<<>>

No. Not to mention it made for a much happier household when mommy was able to sleep more.

<<>>

I believe I said that my children had distict unger cries. Therefore I nursed when they cried due to hunger. I believe I also stated that they were on a schedule and that their hunger and the schedule went hand in hand?

<<>>

I have no doubt what you are saying here. That is why I didnt nurse my babies when they were just crying. Only when it was time for them to eat.

<<<>>

Again what part did you skip? Did you miss the part where I said their schedule and their hunger cries went hand in hand? I believe I have said that to you at least twice.

You will really have to be more specific here. I am not following this back to look for whatever it is you are talking about. If you want me to respond to this mind reading thing you will have to clarify. Otherwise this will be a dead issue.

Because she said nursing comforted the child. Well if she had no milk and the child needed comforting would she be ok with letting the child nurse with no milk?

I must have magical powers too. You have to wean a child from sucking...that is why you explore other avenues/ptions for the child to help the child with dealing with the need to suck as they grow older . My children attached themselves to a stuffed animal and favorite blanket...all of em during our weaning from bottle or breast.
