"Nowhere does it say nursing a child at 8 is necessary."

I didn't claim that it did.

Where does it say it's unnecessary? Where does it say it should not be done?

You can hate me, but do it because you know me, not because I’m a member of a group. Anyways, people aren’t grapes --- you can’t weigh them in a bunch, but I guess it’s easier than dealing with people as individuals. There, I’ve solved the riddle of prejudice: it saves time.

um, just by the opposing opinion here, it is proven that this is exactly how many mothers would view nursing their children in elementary school.

Why is it necessary and why should it be done? I already know it is not necessary to breastfeed elementary aged children for proper growth and development ect.

Mbanc has stated that she bf her kids until 1, so entering elementary school is irrelevent.

BTW, thanks for acknowledging that you wanted your children to benefit from the comfort/security/reassurance aspects of bfing. I would expect this is how most people feel.

In fact, Mbanc is the only person I've ever come across that seemingly disagrees.

No, I read just fine. I don't have a position that I need to back up.

I didn't claim that oxytocin was only to bring on contractions. Maybe you need to read more thoroughly.

What, that you don't use correct words to make your point?
