"um, just by the opposing opinion here, it is proven that this is exactly how many mothers would view nursing their children in elementary school."

Do you know the difference between fact and opinion?

No one has claimed that it was necessary in the first place. Something doesn't have to be necessary to be worthwhile. I really don't need more than one or two outfits, but I like having more.

Back up that nursing isn't about sexual stimulation? That's a no brainer. How many of you here nursed your kids for sexual stimulation? I'll start, not me.

Oh right this is what you said.

"Oxytocin is not a "cuddle hormone." It is a hormone that stimulates uterine contractions."

Could you provide back up to that statement.

You said that nursing was about sexual stimulation. I think the problem is in the expression not my comprehension.

You need me to back up that oxytocin stimulates uterine contractions? Just because I said it stimulates uterine contractions doesn't mean that is all it does, or that I am saying that is all it does. I hadn't heard of oxytocin referred to as the cuddle hormone before. What I find ironic is that the first link supporting that is one based on animal studies. You sure got a kick out of humans being compared to animals when it came to studies posted by others here.

I offered you a link that nursing is about sexual stimulation that it brings on sexual stimulation. Did you miss that? Iam not claiming that is only about sexual stimulation or that sexual stimulation is the top reason, it is just one. Nursing has even been known to help sexual dysfunction.
