The whole dicussion is disturburbing to me. I have made it quite clear that ppl may choose to do as they please, i just want to know why it benifits a eight year old or why it is necessary what does it promote in raising a child?

As for the constant demand for links is humurous, if you do not believe it look it up yoursel and prove me wrong, since that is what it seems like many want to do here.

If it is wrong to choose to stop nusring a child by the time they start school, support why it is wrong and why a eight year old should be nursed other then b/c they want to.

It does not bother me in the least, pll can do whatever they want. I am curious why they do it, what does it do for the family?

B/c imo their is no logical reason to allow your school aged child to suckle your breast for their comfort issues. Why? could you provide a drizzle of back up that it is a necessary need for children to deal with security issues who are in school?

If my school aged child is not able to comfort himself without my breast, their is a major problem. It would be something i would be foucusing on to end for their well being in the school years, i would not promote this or would any teacher i am familiar with.

nursing children in the school years promotes nothing. could you show me how it does?

I would not choose or allow my child to nurse b/c they need to for security or nutrition WHY> how does that help them.

There is a time we must draw a line in the sand for everyones well being.

Then agian, I do not need my children to suckle my breast to feel secure within themselves or for me to be turned on my dh.

"LMAO...So you finally admit I never said anything about my children not benefitting from breastfeeding."

Finally admit??? Again, this was covered back in post 505:

<<"Please link me to where I said I didnt want my children to benefit from nursing?>>

"You didn't. Nor did I say you did."

How many times are you going to ask me to link you to something we *both* know doesn't exist LOL? You're too funny!

No it is really not up to me, if you want to prove me wrong then provde a lin k to do that.
I can put my opinion out there without supprt, if you feel the need to prove me wrong then do that.

I realize you never claimed it was necesaary but i want to know if it is not necessary to breast feed a school aged child? so why do it?

B/c you and your child want to?

Im sure if i allowed my extensive nursers to nurse b/c they wanted to they may still be nursing.

That's not an assumption, that's women telling me that they aren't comfortable nursing in public.

Is it necessary your children wear seat belts?
