<<Your grandparent can not nurse your child? >>

No, my grandparent could not nurse my children, as none are alive.

It should be very easy to prove a opinion false, if it was proven or not to begin with if there was actual proof.

I've been asking you to support your contention that someone in this thread other than you has stated that they consider bf over the age of 1 to have an "ick" factor (not bf in public, bf period). You haven't been able to support that statement.

As for bf babies over one in public, I've seen it occasionally in California, and I have never heard anyone there say that bf over the age of 1 is "icky" (over the age of 3 or 4 seems to trigger that reaction fairly often). Unless you live in California it's kind of hard for you to correct me on my actual observations, right?

Yes, so you have said, so what is it in that post that I need to relax from?

"Were they comforted by nursing? Probably so,"

Yes, most likely they were. Not sure why this acknowledgement was so difficult for you. Most people are well aware of the built in comfort/reassurance aspects of nursing. In fact, you are the only person I've come across that is/was seemingly oblivious to the nursing/comfort connection.

Whew! Glad that's over LOL :)

"I do not recall saying ppl have claimed it iam asking why is it necessary to nurse school aged children?"

It isn't necessary. Neither is reading to middle schoolers. Who CARES if it's necessary? Why does that even matter? Are you saying that you never do anything to or for your child that is not necessary?

No, it is a necessary age appropriate tool for my childrens well being in their education and need for independent entertainment.
