Top 3 Excuses I Can't Stand from WOHMs..

1. We NEED two incomes to survive... Yeah Right! I honestly believe that out of the people that say this 90% would be just fine if they would cut their lifestyle, move to a cheaper area and sacrifice. I am not buying it one bit when people say this.

2. I put my kid in Daycare for the socialization.. Good grief, how much socialization does a 10 month old need?? Besides there are better ways to much socialize young children.

3. I am a better mom if I work outside the home.. UGHH! How in the world do you think you are a better mom by handing your kid off to Grandma or someone else to raise while you go work?? Unless you are going to beat them or verbally abuse them, I always think at home with mom is where kids thrive the most..

THere are others I can't stand, but these are my top 3. Have at it..

I really am not sure what this means. But may I suggest that if you want to jump into a thread to dispute what I said it helps when you can back it up.

Oh I no it wasnt a general statement. However if you want someone to give your posts a thought it is necessary to back them up.

Oh, I am sure that any number of reasons will be suggested at any point and I am sure that they will have little resemblance to what I actually posted.

Do you have a pool in your backyard? If so you leave it accessible 24/7?

Oh please. you don't know anyone with pools? Everyone I know with a pool has plenty of security measures in place, fences, pool covers, locks etc. My own condo pool requires a key to get in or out of the pool area but if we wanted to Liza and Ic ould go down and swim at midnight...

doesn't life get awfully lonely up there on the perch of judgement?

That is right....there are security measures in place. She said HER pool was OPEN 24/7. That suggests that it is accesible 24/7 to anyone.

You think going swimming late at night is safe?

well I mean honestly.. people don't keep their pools locked up the right way for you, they don't do their nails well enough for you, they don't have receptions fancy enough .they don't give the right gift or they give too many gifts.. people are DIFFERENT..we live different lives...and none of the things that you seem to get so het up about seem to have anything to do with the fundamental debate of this board...

what ever happend to just saying "a pool. cool. sounds great" or "fancy nails aren't for everyone that's for sure" or "small receptions are nice too" it's all gotta be a big leap to 'you're pool is leading to a tragedy" or "your nails mean your man won't love you.."

as I always tell my daughter -- "is this REALLY the batttle you want to fight right now?" LOL
